To create a single form, at the top of the form designer you can select "Single" from the "Select Form Type" as shown below. You then select the Entity Type, which out of box is only Asset. Then you select Create.
On the General tab, you can name the form. This will be the name that shows up in the forms list in the application. A description can also be filled in for the form you are creating. You can also double check your Form type and Entity type on this tab found at the top left. The published check box indicates if it is published up to the application to be able to use.
On the fields tab, you can add the fields you need to the form. By clicking the add fields button a drop down list will appear with the available fields that can be added to the form. Note: When creating a form Asset Tag or Serial Number HAVE to be on the form. They are our key look up values, without one the form is unusable.
Once the fields are added you can then reorder the fields by dragging and dropping by the hamburger icon on each field. You can also click on the + signs on each of the fields to open individual properties for each field, more information on those properties can be found under Field Properties.
This tab allows you to add validation rules to the form. For more information on validation rules please see Validators. Note: If you wish to remove a field from the form make sure you remove the validators first, then remove the field.
