AssetTrack 4.12 greatly expands support for attached barcode and RFID hardware. Virtually any scanning hardware that acts as a keyboard is supported.
With this update, you now need to choose the hardware scanner you want to use with AssetTrack.
Previously, AssetTrack would cycle through a list of supported scanning SDKs, and just use whichever one worked on your device first. Now, you need to tell AssetTrack which scanner you want to use. The benefit here is you can use multiple scanners with the same device.
Users that upgrade to 4.12 may find their scanner doesn't work.
To fix this:
- Open the AssetTrack Menu
- Select Settings
- Select Main Scanner drop down
- Choose your desired scanner
- Select Done
